windows task scheduler: the cron for windows

Windows task scheduler is similar to the cron program in unix, linux systems. It allows you to schedule a program to run at a specific time on a daily, weekly, monthly, yearly basis, or just just run it once, you can also schedule it to run when some event happens such as when you logged in. The steps below tells you how use window task scheduler.
1. Make sure you logged on as an administrator or you have the same access as an administrator.

2. Start->Control Panel->System and Security->Administrative Tools->Task Scheduler

3. Action->Create Basic Task->Type a name and Click Next

4. Follow through the wizard.
