Finding IP address on Windows, Mac, Linux, Unix and smartphone devices

Windows
Start->Type cmd on the search bar->Type ipconfig->look for IPV4 address

Mac
System Preferences-> Network -> Advanced -> TCP/IP tab.

Linux/Unix
Type ipconfig on a terminal application and look for IPV4 address

Smartphone device with wifi connection
Go to your phone’s network settings.

Note
IP addresses start with 192.168.x.x, 172.16.x.x or 10.x.x.x are reserved addresses for local network and a router on that network will connect them to the internet.(x is a number forom 0 to 255 inclusive)
